Officials busted a long-time dog fighting ring in the southeast, and in the process 367 pit bulls were rescued and 12 people were arrested. The ring was a highly productive form of organized gambling that centered on wages from dog fights.
USA Today reports that homes were raided last Friday in Alabama and Georgia, and over $500,000 in cash was found.
